Sixteen years prior, a masked ninja unleashed the devastating Nine-Tailed Demon Fox on Konoha, resulting in a tragic loss of life. To protect the village, Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze and his wife, Kushina Uzumaki, sealed the beast within their infant son, Naruto. With the creature contained, peace returned—until the present day. The Akatsuki, a sinister group of rogue ninjas led by Tobi, the very man responsible for the chaos years ago, launch an attack on Konoha.
