Overview

Bernard, a classmate of Olivier, learns he is illegitimate and uses this revelation as an excuse to escape his home life. After a night at Olivier's place, where they discuss Olivier's unsatisfying encounter with a prostitute, Bernard's troubles deepen when he steals a suitcase from Olivier's uncle, Edouard. This theft leads to Bernard becoming Edouard's secretary, igniting Olivier's jealousy. As tensions rise, Olivier finds himself entangled with the sinister Comte de Passavant, who takes him on a journey to the Mediterranean, setting the stage for unforeseen challenges.
