Overview

Mr. Chu, a retired tai chi chuan instructor from Beijing, struggles to adapt after relocating to America to stay with his son Alex and his family. As an elderly widower, he faces the challenges of cultural differences and language barriers, particularly with his daughter-in-law, who doesn't speak Chinese. Alex finds himself caught in the middle, trying to bridge the gap between his father's traditional ways and the modern American lifestyle. The film beautifully explores themes of family, identity, and the clash of cultures through Mr. Chu's poignant journey of adjustment and understanding.
