Overview

Set in the early 1900s, a newspaper sponsors a grueling 700-mile horse race that promises to test the limits of endurance. Nine competitors embark on this challenging journey, including the determined Miss Jones, a spirited Mexican rider, a refined Englishman, and a mix of cowboys—one youthful, the other seasoned. Among them are two close friends, Sam Clayton and Luke Matthews. As the race unfolds, these diverse individuals confront not only the physical challenges ahead but also learn valuable lessons about camaraderie and mutual respect along the way.
