Overview

Detective DiBiasse, portrayed by Eric Roberts, returns to the opulent yet eerie mansion of wealthy recluse Alan Schaeffer (Dylan Walsh) for one final investigation. Accompanied by a rookie detective, he delves into the bizarre circumstances surrounding Schaeffer, who had claimed that one of his creations was out to kill him, despite lacking any proof. With a security team that reports no unusual activity, the police previously abandoned the case. Now, DiBiasse confronts a gruesome crime scene, grappling with the chilling mystery of Schaeffer's fears and the absence of a suspect.
