Amidst the tensions of the Cold War, a group of Soviet agents, commanded by the fierce Irina Spalko, is on the hunt for a crystal skull believed to possess extraordinary powers linked to a legendary Lost City of Gold. Indiana Jones is reluctantly drawn into the adventure when a young man approaches him, revealing that his friend—Indy's associate, Professor Oxley—has been taken captive due to his insights into the skull's location.
