Overview

Kozo Nakase participates in gatherings for widowed men seeking new partners, where he encounters Sayoko Takeuchi and they eventually wed. Tragically, shortly after their marriage, Kozo unexpectedly dies, leaving his entire estate to Sayoko and excluding his family, notably his daughter Tomomi. Feeling suspicious about her father’s sudden choice, Tomomi enlists private investigator Honda to dig deeper into Sayoko's background, prompting a quest for truth that uncovers secrets and motives that could alter the family's dynamics forever.
