Overview

Ferdinando Cefalù yearns to marry his cousin Angela, but his marriage to Rosalia complicates matters, as divorce is prohibited in Italy. To escape his predicament, he devises a scheme to provoke Rosalia into infidelity, believing he could kill her with minimal repercussions. He enlists a painter to seduce his wife, but Rosalia’s loyalty surprises him, thwarting his plans. As Ferdinando navigates his absurd plot, the dark comedy unfolds, revealing the lengths one might go to for love and the unexpected twists that accompany betrayal.
