Overview

Fr. Hugh O'Flaherty, a Vatican official during World War II, takes on the daring mission of sheltering downed pilots, escaped POWs, and families from the Italian resistance. As his underground network grows, it draws the attention of Nazi forces, who plot to eliminate him the moment he steps outside the Vatican walls. O'Flaherty's courage and resourcefulness are put to the test as he navigates the treacherous landscape of wartime Rome, determined to protect those in need while evading the deadly grip of his pursuers.
