On the anniversary of D-Day, a handful of centenarian WWII veterans journey back to Normandy, France. As they move through the war-scarred countryside—still frozen in time—the landscape stirs buried memories. They recall not only the fallen comrades left behind, but also the fragile, precious lives they managed to build in the decades that followed.
