Overview

Helga Breder, a pampered young woman, boasts to her sweetheart Jörgen about her many talents, claiming she can achieve anything. To challenge her, Jörgen wagers that she can’t handle the duties of a housemaid; if she succeeds, he’ll reward her with a diamond ring. Accepting the bet, Helga takes on a maid position at Vinger Mansion, where she unexpectedly finds herself falling for the charming inventor, Bertil Frigård, who resides there. As she navigates her new life, Helga discovers love and the value of hard work.
