Twelve-year-old Olivia's life takes a dark turn during a slumber party when her friend dies under mysterious circumstances after she sings a chilling song, crafted by the enigmatic Milo, that calls forth a sinister entity known as “The Crooked Man.” Six years later, she returns to her hometown only to find a series of bizarre deaths unfolding, which reignite her fears of the haunting presence from that night.
