Overview

During a weekend getaway in the countryside, Laura narrowly escapes a car accident. Although she emerges physically unscathed, the experience leaves her emotionally rattled. A compassionate local woman, who witnessed the crash, takes Laura in and tends to her with a nurturing affection. As her husband and grown son begin to accept Laura into their lives, the four of them gradually establish a familial bond. However, the shadows of their past soon loom large, forcing them to confront what they’ve been trying to hide.
