Overview

High atop sandstone pillars, a monastery and convent stand side by side. There, young monk Theodoros and nun Urania, having dedicated their lives to rigorous spiritual rituals, feel an undeniable physical pull toward each other. Far below, the endless rhythm of farm life offers a stark contrast to their cloistered existence. Torn between the call of human desire and the demands of their faith, they must make an impossible choice.
