Overview

In 1957 Rome, Cabiria faces betrayal when her boyfriend, Giorgio, robs her and attempts to abandon her. After a narrow escape from drowning, she picks up the pieces of her life, striving for joy amid a harsh reality. Despite moments of hope and the illusion of newfound happiness, Cabiria discovers that her challenges are far from over, as the true nature of her world continues to test her resilience and spirit.
