Overview

Dempsey Cain, a respected police officer and devoted family man, sees his life turned upside down when a drug dealer's bullet leaves him paralyzed. As he struggles to adapt to his new reality, he begins to suspect that his wife and younger brother are more interested in each other than in supporting him. Their apparent indifference, coupled with a looming million-dollar insurance payout, leads Dempsey to question loyalty and love.
