Overview

Andrew Crocker-Harris, a disillusioned teacher of Greek and Latin at a prestigious British prep school, faces forced retirement after nearly two decades, ostensibly due to health issues and potentially without a pension. His students view him as a tyrant, a sentiment that holds some truth. Meanwhile, his unfaithful wife, Laura, seeks to undermine him at every turn.
