Overview

Sophie, a reserved and timid housemaid for a wealthy French family, discovers camaraderie in the spirited and unyielding postmaster Jeanne. Inspired by Jeanne's boldness, Sophie begins to confront the injustices of her upper-class employers, gradually finding her own voice and strength in the process.
