Overview

Susan Applegate returns to her hometown from New York, only to find herself short on train fare. To save money, she cleverly disguises herself as a twelve-year-old girl. During the journey, she hides in the compartment of Major Philip Kirby, a military school instructor, who unwittingly becomes her protector.
