Overview

On the Island of Sodor, the railway crews are called in to assist with building a brand-new airport. However, the project is threatened by a brutal summer storm and a growing rivalry between the steam engines and the diesel engines. As tensions rise and the weather turns fierce, the entire job—and the future of the railway—hangs in the balance.
