Overview

Hideo Suzuki, a 35-year-old assistant to a manga artist, feels trapped in a monotonous life filled with dead-end work, unfulfilled aspirations, and unsettling hallucinations. Struggling with low self-esteem and the feeling of being a mere background character in his own story, his existence takes a drastic turn when a terrifying outbreak transforms ordinary people into violent, flesh-eating monsters. Hideo must navigate this chaotic new reality, forcing him to confront his fears and find his place amidst the madness. The world he once knew is gone, and survival becomes his main focus.
