Overview

Sam Bowden, a corporate lawyer in a quaint town, finds his life upended when Max Cady, a menacing figure adorned with tattoos and a penchant for scripture, is released from prison. Fourteen years prior, Sam was the public defender for Cady during a rape trial and made a critical mistake by concealing evidence that could have secured his client's freedom.
