Cabiria

Overview

Cabiria, a young girl, is abducted by pirates and sold into slavery in Carthage. As she faces a grim fate as a sacrifice to Moloch, she is miraculously saved by Fulvius Axilla, a kind-hearted Roman spy, and his formidable companion, Maciste. Their reunion is short-lived, as Cabiria is placed under the care of a noblewoman, while Maciste faces punishment for his bravery, and Fulvius is dispatched to fight for Rome.
