Overview

Bucharest in 1972 sets the stage for Ana, a 17-year-old yearning for love and liberation. During a lively night out with friends, they take a bold step by writing a letter to Metronom, a clandestine music show aired by Radio Free Europe. Their carefree moment quickly turns ominous when the Securitate, the secret police under Ceausescu's regime, storms in. This encounter thrusts Ana into a perilous reality, challenging her dreams in a time of oppressive surveillance and danger. As the stakes rise, she must navigate the complexities of friendship, rebellion, and the quest for personal freedom.
