Overview

Brutus Jones, a cunning and ruthless man, breaks free from prison following the murder of a guard. Using his charisma and sheer audacity, he manipulates his way into power, ultimately declaring himself emperor of a Caribbean island. As he rules with an iron fist, his bravado masks deep-seated fears and insecurities.
