Overview

Dr. Aranya, portrayed by Jackie Coogan, conducts bizarre experiments in his Mexican laboratory on Zarpa Mesa, attempting to engineer a race of superwomen by infusing spiders with human pituitary hormones. While the women gain extraordinary healing abilities, the men suffer grotesque mutations, becoming disfigured dwarves. Meanwhile, the arachnids evolve into colossal, intelligent creatures, complicating the scientist's twisted ambitions.
