Overview

A folklore professor inadvertently falls under the sway of ancient Japanese demons representing Thunder and Lightning. In response, the Bureau of Paranormal Research & Defense sends agents to uncover the truth. However, a cursed samurai sword transports Hellboy into a chaotic realm filled with spirits, mythical creatures, and feudal conflicts. Meanwhile, pyrokinetic Liz Sherman and aquatic Abe Sapien face off against an enraged dragon. As they fight to survive, Hellboy navigates this bizarre dimension, determined to return home while grappling with his own frustrations.
