Every summer, the village of Hasanpasa hosts an annual shepherding competition where participants guide their sheep through a water pool. The goal is to complete the course swiftly and confidently, with the fastest shepherd claiming victory. For eight years running, the esteemed champion has been Takmaz, an experienced elder shepherd. He is passionate about mentoring the youth, imparting his knowledge and skills to ensure the tradition of shepherding continues. As the contest approaches, Takmaz is determined to inspire the next generation, blending competition with valuable life lessons.
