Practical Magic

Overview

In "Practical Magic," sisters Sally and Gillian Owens come from a lineage of witches but have largely steered clear of magic. However, after Gillian's abusive boyfriend, Jimmy Angelov, dies suddenly, the sisters find themselves diving headfirst into powerful sorcery. As they attempt to bring him back to life, they attract the attention of a curious policeman, Gary Hallet. In their desperate efforts, they inadvertently unleash a malevolent spirit into Jimmy's corpse, endangering not only their lives but also the very future of their family.
