Overview

Marilyn Miller's journey from her parents' vaudeville act to Broadway stardom begins when she's discovered by the charismatic dancer Jack Donahue. Recognizing her immense talent, he guides her to success on stage where she also finds romance with the talented songwriter Frank Carter.
