Overview

Years after dodging the draft in the Yugoslav war, Vlad has carved out a new life in Bristol. He works as a drugs counsellor and fronts a raucous Balkan band, building a tight-knit community around him. But fitting in proves harder than expected, and the ghosts of his past refuse to stay buried. Can he conquer his inner turmoil and build a stable future for the people he holds dear?
