Overview

Set in a remote mining village in northern China in 2004, Zhang Baomin returns home only to find his world shattered. His wife reveals their son has vanished without a trace while tending to their sheep. As Zhang embarks on a desperate search for his child, he confronts the harsh realities of the village and its secrets.
