Fallbrook Middle School prepares for its annual Teacher of the Year award, a title that has been dominated for 43 years by the beloved Norman "Stormin'" Warner. Following his death, the responsibility of upholding this legacy falls to his son, Matt Warner, who has always felt overshadowed by his father's accomplishments. As Matt navigates the challenges of stepping into this role, he must confront his insecurities and find his own identity as both a teacher and an individual, striving to honor his father's memory while forging his own path.
