Overview

NEDS chronicles the transformation of John McGill, a bright student who descends into the world of delinquency. Battling the low expectations of his peers and community, he evolves from an innocent altar boy into a troubled teen, resorting to violence and substance abuse. As John grapples with his identity, his efforts to reclaim his former self are thwarted by his harsh surroundings and turbulent past. The struggle between his desire for redemption and the pressures of his environment makes it increasingly difficult to escape the cycle of chaos and aggression that surrounds him.
