Overview

After the devastating 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, a journalist ventures to Nagaoka, a city with a history of destruction from both WWII bombings and the 2004 Chūetsu earthquakes. As she investigates the aftermath, she uncovers the personal stories of the resilient locals. Amid her exploration, she discovers a compelling stage play penned by a mysterious student connected to her former boyfriend, adding an unexpected layer to her journey. Through these narratives, she finds hope and healing in a community that has faced profound loss yet continues to blossom.
