Overview

In 1989, the sleek trimaran Rose Noelle departed from Picton, New Zealand, aiming for Tonga with a crew of four. A sudden, powerful wave overturned the vessel, leaving them adrift in the vast ocean. Battling the elements and their own dwindling resources, they survived for an astonishing 119 days before finally making landfall on Great Barrier Island.
