Overview

Zarafa recounts the enchanting tale of the first giraffe to grace France, blending stunning hand-drawn animation with a heartfelt narrative. The story follows young Maki, who escapes from captivity under the cover of night, only to find friendship in Zarafa, a baby giraffe also seeking freedom. Together, they encounter Hassan, the nomadic Prince of the Desert, who guides them to Alexandria. There, they meet the Pasha of Egypt, who commands Hassan to transport the remarkable creature as a gift to King Charles of France, setting the stage for an unforgettable adventure.
