Overview

A gifted young woman leaves her rural village for Johannesburg, determined to make her mark in the performing arts. She secures a role in a musical about Zulu Queen Mkabayi, Shaka's Aunt, and embarks on a journey of self-discovery as she balances her identity as a Performer, Zulu, Woman, and Daughter. Facing challenges from more experienced cast members and the jealousy of a veteran star, she must navigate a grueling rehearsal schedule to shine on opening night.
