Overview

Noriko Shimabara, a disenchanted teenager from Toyokawa, escapes her home in search of connection and purpose. Her journey leads her to Kumiko, the enigmatic head of an online forum, Haikyo.com. As Noriko immerses herself in Kumiko’s increasingly unsettling family dynamics, she finds herself entangled in a chilling aftermath following the tragic mass suicide of 54 high school girls. The harrowing events force Noriko to confront the depths of despair and the search for belonging in a world spiraling out of control.
