Overview

Al Crowthers and Melvin Jones strike up a friendship while waiting to enlist in the Navy. Al, determined to win over women, persists despite previous rejections from military service. Melvin, on the other hand, battles an allergy to cosmetics, leading his doctor to recommend ocean travel as a remedy. Eager for adventure and relief, he decides that joining the Navy is the perfect solution. Together, they embark on a comedic journey filled with mishaps and unexpected challenges as they navigate their new lives at sea.
