Polly of the Circus

Overview

Polly Fisher, a talented aerialist, sustains an injury during a circus performance and finds refuge in the home of local minister John Hartley. As she heals, their bond deepens into love, leading to a secret marriage. However, their happiness is short-lived as John's congregation reacts vehemently to his union with a circus performer, resulting in his dismissal. To protect John's reputation and restore his calling, Polly chooses to leave him.
