Secret Summer

Overview

Appraiser Rachel, played by Lindsey Shaw, is dismayed to learn her influential client plans to demolish a cherished small-town library to develop a resort. Despite her reluctance to leave New York City, her boss insists, prompting her move to California. There, she meets Jake, portrayed by Derek Theler, a writer delving into the legend of Captain Black Bart's hidden treasures. Encouraged by Mrs. Archer, the librarian, Jake strives to show Rachel the library's true value to the community. As Rachel discovers its significance, she races against time to protect the library from impending closure.
