The Puffy Chair

Overview

Josh, a struggling indie rocker and booking agent, is at a low point in his life. Seeking a glimmer of happiness, he impulsively buys a vintage 1985 Lazy Boy on eBay, reminiscent of his childhood. Determined to surprise his father for his birthday, he sets off on a cross-country road trip, which includes a stop at his brother’s house to see Emily. However, when his friend Rhett joins the journey, the cramped van becomes a pressure cooker for tension, forcing them to confront their relationships and priorities as they navigate the trip with the oversized purple chair.
