Overview

Set against the backdrop of Alexandria in 1940, a trio of young Egyptians intervenes when a woman is assaulted by British soldiers, leading to the arrest of one of them. As tensions escalate and the military descends upon the police station for a siege, the responsibility of safeguarding the prison falls on General Youssef al-Masri. With the stakes higher than ever, he must confront the invaders while striving to protect his community from impending chaos.
