Overview

A middle-aged intellectual finds his life spiraling out of control after he unintentionally commits murder while trying to regain his wife’s esteem. As he grapples with guilt and paranoia, unsettling connections emerge between the victim, his wife's pregnancy, and a shadowy blackmailer manipulating his actions. The tension escalates as he struggles to untangle the web of deceit, forcing him to confront his own moral decay and the lengths one will go to protect their reputation.
