Overview

Gabby, a waitress at a remote Arizona diner, longs for a life beyond her current existence. Her routine changes when Alan, a broke intellectual, wanders in, sparking an instant connection. However, their budding relationship faces a dire challenge when the infamous criminal Duke Mantee and his gang seize control of the diner, taking everyone inside hostage. With the vast desert stretching outside, the trapped patrons and staff must endure a tense standoff overnight, confronting their fears and desires amid the looming threat.
