Overview

Feeling overlooked at her job and traumatized by a colleague's murder, security guard Trixie Zurbo seeks refuge in an undercover role at a lakeside casino, tasked with monitoring for pickpockets. There, she encounters an eclectic mix of characters, including the hard-drinking lounge performer Kirk Stans, who excels at impressions, and the savvy barfly Ruby Pearli, whose glamour captivates. Alongside them is Dex Lang, a charming womanizer who shows Trixie a level of attention she finds difficult to resist, complicating her already tumultuous life.
