Overview

Set in the quiet, former seaport town of Uobuka, six ex-convicts are placed there by the government for rehabilitation, unbeknownst to the local residents. Tsukisue, a diligent municipal official overseeing the initiative, gradually uncovers the troubled histories of these individuals. His efforts to integrate them into the community take a dark turn when a body is found, forcing him to confront the hidden truths of their pasts and the potential dangers lurking in their midst.
