Overview

Jussi Ketola arrives back in Finland, seeking solace after the Great Depression in America, but is met with escalating political turmoil. One fateful summer evening in 1930, nationalist thugs storm his home and violently abduct him. Brutally beaten, Jussi is compelled to traverse the treacherous Eternal Road leading to the harsh realities of Soviet Russia. Amidst the relentless cruelty, his unwavering desire to reunite with his family drives him forward, embodying the spirit that hope is the last thing to perish.
