Overview

Malik, an African-American athlete on a track scholarship, starts college believing his sports prowess will carry him through. However, he struggles academically and soon befriends Fudge, a seasoned student who has navigated college life for six years. Fudge opens Malik’s eyes to complex issues surrounding race and politics in America, pushing him to confront his own beliefs.
